It is on the inside of St. George Island and also the mouth of the river so the water isn't nice at all.

As you stroll alongside the Gulf, you may spot dolphins jumping in the water, a blue heron perched on the sand or pelicans flying overhead.

The facility is located on US98, and there is a bicycle path/lane that goes all the way out to St. George's island that is well maintained for road bikers. The site was clean, and the park is right across the road from a lovely beach.

They allow smoking in the pool area, and they condone blowing smoke in people's faces. It's about 19 miles, and has limited stops, so make sure you pack your water bottle. We stay here multiple times during the year. Sites are level, but too narrow. In fact, we are recreating outdoor recreation and relaxation. Outstanding facilities, stayed in one of the bungalows and it was perfect for a couple that didn't have the benefit of a , which is right across the street from Carrabelle beach.We had a beautiful slip with a couple of palm trees, "I was SO impressed with this place.
