The split pea soup was Lackluster and could have benifitted from the addition of HAM, FatBack, Bacon, Hamhock or anything to help improve the flavor. The food is Great. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Enough said.Clementine's was so densely decorated for Christmas that we felt as if we were a part of a well-patronized Christmas festival. Carps best places are Clem's, Zookers, and Siam elephant and uncle Chen's for Chinese food... Clem's and zooks for finer dining in carp..it's all we got.The best steak in town- well, everything here is great. I called the waitrss over and showed her and she admitted it was her that plated the salad. You aren't just a credit card and a tip. I was worried that it might not be good after the change in ownership, but the new owners are maintaining the same quality of food and service.Every other piece of fried chicken you've ever put into your mouth is inferior to Clementine's fried chicken. The filet was literally the best I can remember.

The sides were fine...we ordered the baked potato and a vegetable side (sautéed carrots). They also were dusty and the lamps as well. This was at 5:25.

Updated review. The meat was so tender I literally cut it with my butter knife. He forgot to leave the wine cork at the table by the way(we figured this out later) The waitress was an overworked and over stressed woman of 50+years or older.
