We were shown to our table in the dining room which was nice but quite noisy, as sound bounced off every hard surface....I attended a large party for a friends 40th bday.

Luckily we are local and will be going backBrought take out Food Which was cold and under cooked And raw no apology or refund just rude bar man when returned food trying to tell me it was cooked when the meet was freezing cold and raw I wouldn’t give it to my dog...Naturally, I was very disappointed to hear you didn't enjoy your burgers on this occasion, and apologise. The potato was light and fluffy with a large portion of fresh beautiful side salad....Called in today with my partner, just to check it out. I do however remember pointing out, that many restaurants/pubs etc do...I took my wife for the first time to the Fox & Goose for there steak night. Josper Grill - both steaks cooked to perfection, and the sauces were amazing. Share.
Will be here again for some more good pub grub.Beautiful place with superb views , friendly atmosphere and great food. We sampled the Yorkshire pudding wraps which were utterly mouth watering. Staff friendly, food okay, not going to revisit as food not to my standard. Closed now: See all hours. Transport. The food was excellent,very reasonably priced (cheap in my opinion!). I recall your order, and remember the burger was too pink in the middle for your liking.
Only slightly annoying point was they kept us waiting for the table when we turned up 20mins early (nobody much in the restaurant)....A country pub trying its very best and succeeding to provide the best service possible.
