The road is closed to traffic in that area.Sections of Fourth Street and Eden Drive and all of Le Duke Boulevard are closed due to downed power lines and trees.As of about 8:15 a.m., AEP Southwestern Electric Power Co. was reporting the following outages: 698 customers in Gregg County, 107 in Harrison and 116 in Upshur.A tornado tore through northeast Longview on Thursday night, forcing the evacuation of a nursing home and damaging homes along the Eden Drive/Eastman Road corridor.The storm also left a scar across portions of western Harrison County, especially the FM 2208 and Smelley Road areas.Although the damage was widespread, Longview police spokeswoman Kristie Brian reported no known injuries.There also were no injuries at the Eden Specialty Care nursing home facility on Eden Drive after the storm damaged the roof.An official with the facility said there was some flooding, and the Longview Fire Department helped evacuate 75 patients to other nursing homes or a local hospital.Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary said a Red Cross processing center was set up at the Crisman School on North Eastman Road for residents who needed shelter.
